Eagle Broadcasting Corporation (EBC) has entered into a memorandum of understanding with the foremost government information agency in the Philippines, the Philippine Information Agency (PIA), as part of its continuing efforts to provide much-needed and helpful information to the public.
EBC has always been in the forefront of public service, being active in making sure that announcements that have significance to the public be known by its wide community.
The memorandum of understanding was signed by EBC President, Mr. Jorge A. Cabacungan, together with EBC Chief Operating Officer, Mr. James L. Manzanero. PIA was represented by Director-General Jose Mari M. Oquiñena.
This memorandum of understanding ensures that EBC will have access to important information – news items, photographs, video materials – which it will then disseminate to the public.
The PIA,thus, gains an ally in EBC which will help in guaranteeing that its public service announcements reach a wide audience.
