Eagle Broadcasting Corporation and Metropolitan Manila Development Authority formally signed a memorandum of agreement last January 24, 2014.
Present in the MOA signing are EBC officials led by its president, Mr. Jorge A. Cabacungan and its Acting Chief Operating Officer, Mr. James L. Manzanero. Also present are their counterparts in MMDA led by MMDA Chairman Francis N. Tolentino, Assistant General Manager Atty. Emerson S. Carlos and Director Milagros Y. Silvestre of Metro Base.
The MOA formalized the partnership between the two organizations in delivering fast and effective public service, particularly for the Filipino motorists.
Now, we can see hourly updates of the live traffic situationn of the major thoroughfares in Metro Manila in the various news and public service programs of EBC.
The partnership aims to provide speedy updates regarding heavy traffic, flood, road blocks and accidents. It also gives access to the more than a hundred CCTV cameras of the MMDA to the EBC.
MMDA can also air their advocacy plugs in EBC.
WIth the signing of the MOA, expect a stronger, faster and more efficient delivery of news and public service by the Eagle News Service of EBC.
