Protecting Philippine biodiversity by conserving habitats, saving species, and empowering people.
Eagle Broadcasting Corporation’s (EBC) President, Mr. Jorge Cabacungan, EBC’s COO, Mr. James Manzanero, Haribon’s Chairman Mr. John Lesaca, and Haribon’s COO, Ms. Belinda dela Paz signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 13 March 2014 to formalize their commitment to promote the public awareness in saving the environment.
Through the said partnership, Haribon’s conservationists and experts will team up with Eagle Broadcasting Corporation to educate Filipino audiences about environmental laws and ordinances, empower communities by sharing the best natural resource conservation practices, and celebrate the richness of the country’s flora and fauna.
As part of the advocacy to inform and educate the public about taking care of the environment, EBC will be airing advocacy campaigns of Haribon Foundation. Haribon, on the other hand, will be providing ready-to-air materials as well as other relevant content for EBC’s programs.
